Lyrics
Final Hand The Angels all came cruising up from the Rio Grande Gathered at the Brazos to play the Final Hand The Governor was waiting hoping for His great reward Didn’t notice old Michael leaning on His sword Who made the reservation for the losers and the winners The grains of sand were counting – one by one It was time to come to dinner Black is Black White is White in the full light of High Noon We gathered in the Palace of the Oleander Moon Some they came for Glory Others came for Gold Most just took a small reward for doing what they’re told Me? I had a Bible sometimes I used a gun But in the end you know my friend I wasn’t having too much fun Better take yourself down to the river - Take yourself down to the sea Take yourself down to a place where the whole human race Take yourself down to the river - Let yourself be Some people rise to the morning others turn for a song Some people strike without warning turn around and they’ll be gone Black is Black – White is White in the full light of High Noon We gathered in the Palace of the Oleander Moon

I listened twice so far...the dynamics are remarkable...the vocals sit perfectly and the sax, guitars and other instruments sit very nicely in the mix. The sum of all equals a great song. Nice work!

As usual your voice carries a certain spirituality, as does the song itself. It evokes scenes of open spaces and, perhaps, feelings of days gone by, with a bit of sadness...beautiful. Take care brother(s), Mauri.

powerful feeling song. excellent vocal performance. the sax is a great touch and adds nicely to the mood of the song. I like where it quiets down with the guitar picking. nice work, gentlemen.

Dark & moody guitars and sax, with an excellent story to the vocals, enjoyed the outstanding performance gents!
