I'm so out of my comfort zone with this one. Those of you who've heard my music before know that this song deviates quite a bit from my normal way of writing. More info under "about the song".

Story behind the song
I always write instrumental music and I never really pay attention to lyrics. So, a friend of mine challenged me to write a song based on vocals and lyrics, which made me really uncomfortable :) But I gave it a shot and this is what I came up with. The "screams/growls" are totally fake. I figured out a way to whisper aggressively in a metal kind of way and then distort the living crap out of it. It works way better than it should. Not only is writing lyrics and recording my vocals new to me but I have no idea how to mic a guitar amp properly. So this song had a lot of challenges for me but I learned some new things while making it and it was fun to try something new.
Lyrics
Why, am I like this? I'm tired of this shit I make myself sick It's all, in my head My thoughts are like poison Spreading through my body My head is playing games with me And I am tired of this now Why, am I like this? I'm tired of this shit I make myself sick It's all, in my head My thoughts are like poison Spreading through my body No! No! No! I make myself sick I make myself sick I make myself sick I make myself sick My head is playing games with me (playing games with me) And I am tired of this shit

Great track. I love it. Powerful stuff! Well done!
It's a testament to your talent that you're able to say "I think I'll give something different a crack" and nail it so effortlessly that everyone is left stunned. It's "sick" how brilliant this is. :)

Great recording, Rikard! The vox really work here--excellent expression & premise. Guitars & rhythm section are arranged for maximum impact, and it's as tight as can be. Kudos all round, man!
