Quite a long piece at over 11 minutes. It transforms from one style to another with the intention of taking you on 'a journey'. To quote George Harrison, "arrive without travelling, see all without looking, do all without doing"

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
A tune with different sections. I did intend this to take the listener a journey. Timothy Leary, 'The Psychedelic Guru', gives useful advice towards the end. He'll take you on a 'trip' around the 'Bay', and bring you back the same day ! Close you eyes, lean back and set the controls for the centre of the rainbow.

Quite a composition!! I like all the twists and turns, especially the one at around 4:00 and 6:15. Kind of psychedelic, mystical and retro all at the same time - really great job on the keys/organ and perfect guitar work.

I knew this would be good from the graphic you used...and it is....very retro sounding...but cool...nice!

Very cool track with great melodies David :) I love the short little bits where the Organ melts into a shimmering Psychedelic puddle and then pushes on with the journey :) lots of really interesting twist and turns to keep it moving and grooving :)
