In March of 2003, when bassist Christian Leggett joined up with singer Camilo Hidalgo, guitarist Michael Chambers, and drummer Noel McNamara, Elysium became an official band, tearing up the local music scene. Touring all over South-Western Ontario including London, Kitchener, Hamilton, Guelph, Toronto and Kingston. Elysium has rocked several different stages with their unique music, a melded mix of alternative rock, and heavy metal, and their contagious energy, demanding the attention of the crowd. With influences such as Deftones, Tool, Perfect Circle, System Of A Down and Finger Eleven, it's no wonder that the band is so successful, and that their newest, self-produced demo “SEETH EP”, released in mid-July, has already sold over 100 copies. Though they've undergone a few set-backs, this imperious group of skillful musicians will let nothing stand in their way as they charge their way up to stardom.
