Lyrics
I don’t know what it’s made of but that’s okay with me
It’s the only thing to drink when you’re sitting by the tree
Wherever you go when they hand you a cup
There’s always dust or something on the top
Do the Nog
I had sixteen cups of eggnog just the other night it’s true
So much eggnog I didn’t know what to do
Smerg and Poutine had to help me out the door
and walk me down to Safeway so I could buy some more
Aunt Janet had a recipe she kept to herself
A secret she had that she never told to no one else
She said she made it every year even during war
But I never found out what the recipe was for
Aunt Janet was like that, she was really kinda weird
She always wore green dresses and an iridescent beard
She had this great big house although she always lived alone
And she had a cat named Randolph Mantooth who might have been a clone
One year aunt Janet gave me a rabbit as a gift
She said the feet would help me if I ever need a lift
It wasn’t even Christmas and it wasn’t even wrapped
She said she wanted me to have just as soon as it was trapped
I may not know how to make it but I don’t really care
The best thing about eggnog is there ain’t no suit to wear
I think of aunt Janet when I’m drinking my eggnog
And all the fun the family had without her dog
Now it’s Christmas and the people want to know
The meaning of the season and if it’s gonna snow
Pardon me mister I don’t mean to be a hog
Just gotta get me some more of that eggnog
