Seeing your visual reminded me of an incident at a graduation we attended earlier this year - a large dragonfly landed on my wife's shoulder - I thought she was wearing a brooch - the thing was absolutely still. When I commented on the dragonfly - what a laugh... I lifted it off, and it flew away.
Smooth melody - excellent, full tone on the acoustic guitar! Vocals well sang - a beautiful piece Dale :)

This is really beautiful, Dale. The story about the dragonfly adds an extra dimension to listening. The tune has some very nice chord progressions and the lyrics sound great, but you should add lyrics so they can be read. My ears are old rock'n roll ears and I cannot hear as well as before :)
For some reason I keep waiting for that drum fill and the whole band joining in. Maybe because it reminds me a bit of "The wizard" by Uriah Heep :)
Any way - this is top shelf music. You sure keep a high standard in your songwriting!

It was great reading about the inspiration for this song - a strange and magical moment! I believe all creatures try and communicate with us and all we have to do it be open to it. Brilliant lyrics, expertly conveyed - captivating melody. I like the guitar work too.
Really nice acoustic tune here Dale. Fine guitar playing and a nice crisp tone. Loved the back story. Good lyrics sung very well as usual. Glad I stopped to check this one out. Good song!
