A totally fab song to play...simple, but a very nice chord sequence E / A / F#m / etc... a #3 hit for Amen Corner in 1967. Lead singer was of course Andy Fairweather-Low (gosh, he looked very young on the video) mind you, I was only 15 at the time.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

I'm listening to this album while I eat supper, the last one got away from me, that's you doing the old shampoo commercial too? you're scary. This is a nice rework of an old fave. I love the guitar sounds you get.

Nice addition to a very clever series of musical flashbacks to the golden age of rock :)

Oh I remember this one. Never knew who did it. Definitely live feel and fits the song perfectly. You nailed it!!! Nice lead and guitar tones. Great jam. Gonna bet they didn't do that. LOL!

A blast from the past. Wow....it's years since I last heard this one on the radio. Great version, I like the keys! Drums sound fantastic - just like a live set. Love all those old commercials too :) The original was written by American songwriters Larry Weiss & Scott English I believe - I have a vinyl of a 1967 version performed by a band called American Breed.
