The latest snappy Pop song by Big Sleep.

Artist picture
Big Sleep is the name of the imaginary 'band/group, that all the music I create with my friend and musical collaborator, Tony Webster goes under. Tony is pictured on the right in the photo; me on the left in the dark blue suit. Tony is an artist / illustrator, writer of lyrics and stories, song arranger and a mine of information on any subject under the sun . . . I (David A Briggs) play all the instruments (mostly of the stringed variety), perform all the studio 'jiggery-pokery', sing and dabble a little in the visual arts.

Now this is just brilliant! Takes me back to the late 70s sound I love - British punk pop at its best. Great vocal, toothsome guitars, irresistible beat and you add some lovely psychedelic touches just for good measure! Great work chaps!

Some one mentioned the band“The YardBirds” or “The Byrds”. Yep! I got that vibe too. A really fun track. I particularly was impressed with your vocals and the affects added to it. Awesome. Marvelous Brit-Pop psychedelic feel with modern overtones. Nice. Real nice work.

Upbeat and sparkle aplenty with nice jangly guitar and new wave vocals. Nice!!!

An unusual combination of early Hawkwind vocals with Byrds guitars and arrangement akin to the Dukes of Strat. Great stuff :)

I hear a lot of Brit Rock in the sound of this one. Elements of the Kinks with a hint of added psychedelia, a little bit of Merseybeat and a touch of Ska music...all rolled into one! Great feel to this song and the perfect song for radio play.
Now this is THE SOUND - big smiles on this one, lady & gents!

Power pop in it's finest. The guitar rhythm sounds a bit like Dave Edmunds/Nick Lowe with 'Rockpile' with a British edge to it.

This one brought me back into the mid/end 60´s, wow, great vintage sound and kinda Brit-Pop blended into a little bit of California style (imho), spectacular outro.... and good, really good my friends!!! So sparkling electic!!! :)
