Story behind the song
I Found this old track in my vault. Decided to upload it for vintage interest. All electronic instrumentation using a keyboard controller. No live or pre-recorded loops. I use a Wagner (Vst) patch for the guitars with various creative fx's. 7/8 time-sig. Instrument emulations: Guitars Bass Drums Keys Any recognizable riffs?

Wow amazing freestyle and I love the unique rhythms and change-ups. Orchestral in parts and seems to tell a dramatic story. Great composition!

Wow! This is such an awesome sounding progressive rock tune. I just love everything about this one, except its a bit too short. It should be at least 30 minutes. :) But on the plus side its a song that i can listen to several times and still discover something new and interesting each time. Im listening to it for the 3rd time in a row now and i will listen to it more cause this thing is huge! Sounds like you put a lot of time and hard work into this one and it really paid off. Absolutly awesome and amazing work Al!

this is some powerful stuff. unrelenting and well constructed. the arrangement is always full but never cluttered. great interaction between instruments, lots of distinctive segments. you, of course, never disappoint. well done.
Such a great time capsule. The influences are there, but to me this is Al - another great facet of your many talents. Too many interesting elements to mention, but I liked how the bass/drums worked in tandem in such a cohesive manner.

Great track Al! One thing I enjoy on SC is hearing great musical arrangements, as this track exhibits - something I need to develop in my music (don't know if I can though ;-) ). Recognize a Yes riff at 1:27 if not mistaken. The track is masterful in it's arrangement, instrumentation, production and performance. In other words, a typical Al Massey production. Dig that art work too! Awesome Professor!

This is it. you literally have YES & ELP both together on stage here in some kind of a virtual reality in SuperHQ sound. I can seriously doubt there's a better instrumental 70's era prog rock style medley out there anywhere. SC *F*I*V*E* star Rock esp. like the Steve H & Rick W. parts myself A

This is very cool Al! Great 70s vibe - love the fluctuating time sigs in "Yes / Kansas" fashion. Awesome rocker ;)

I'm hearing some influences of Alan Holdsworth, Wakeman, Emerson, Palmer, Lake, Jaco and a slew of others slipping in and out as the song progresses. Very cool!

Very cool Progging Al :D there is a riff at 0:47 that reminds me of YES from the 'Closer to the Edge' album.. 'Siberian Khatru' one of my favorites :) you then take the composition to some pretty awesome places in ProgLand. Bravo! MD

I hear a very strong prog rock influence here. Fascinating and entertaining arrangement, captivating twists and turns. Very interested to read about how this track was created, and surprised....it sounds like a top notch studio creation. I think this goes to illustrate your extensive talents and expertise.

Amazing track Al, love the twists turns and breaks drums are really cool reminds me a little of Yes less the awful vocals a reason l never got into them wish l could produce as quickly as you do even simple things all your tracks seem so complex hats off to you not enough stars to award.

I'm amazed at the quality of recording on soundclick nowadays. Everyone seems to have upped the stakes. Mind you, your music has always been off the scale on that score. I wouldn't know where to begin to 'construct' a piece as complex as this. Absolutely outstanding tune Al. This is brilliant.

Love it when the big drum enters and the melodic theme is very good.Genesis came to my mind among others from the 70's when I hear this.Very cool guitar-arrangements.Awesome drums too.And finaly the B3! Amazing track that takes you on a journey back to the 70's and all the bands back then that flashes by in your mind. Nice!
