Just a rockin' 12 bar Blues shuffle.... Didja ever walk into a place and after a while wonder "oh man, how'd I end up in here"?

I'm a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from central Kentucky. My music is a mix of many different influences; from the country and western I heard as a child to some stuff I heard yesterday. I was a full time, working musician for over twenty years; doing clubs and concerts all over the eastern U.S., but mainly in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, and Florida. I have played every kind of venue; from the smallest, seediest club to 10,000 seat concert halls. Loved every minute of it. I also spent many hours in various studios as both musician and producer on a variety of projects. I am now a part time musician; I divide my musical time between writing and recording my own songs and playing with a great bunch of musicians in a band called "The Grandees". I write songs primarily to make you shake your money maker. I'm not deep, and I'm certainly no virtuoso. I just want you to have a good time. The songs I have here are from my second solo CD, titled "The Twisted Tale Of The Honky Tonk Monkey", which is available at CDBaby.com and my upcoming CD "Bad Choices Make Good Stories". My first CD, "All Night Radio", is available at CD Baby and fine CD discount bins everywhere. Thank you for visiting, and... TURN IT UP!!!!!

Story behind the song
Sometimes you just wanna play the blues...
Lyrics
Friday night and the workin's done Gotta go out and have some fun Got money in your pocket And a shine on your shoes Love on your mind And nothing to lose Gonna burn that candle 'till it fades to black Spend some time at The Panic Attack A cinderblock building on the riverbank A gravel parking lot and a propane tank A faded sign that says "Cold Draft Beer" The best live music That you'll ever hear Behind the bar is 'ol Roundhouse Jack The main motivator of The Panic Attack A four piece band on the rickity stage Got a shady past and indeterminate age Shoutin' the Blues Like they have no fears Then croon a country song That'll have you in tears "The Can't Count Trio" all dressed in black Makin' it loud in The Panic Attack Long about 10 is when it comes alive The crowd gets rowdy as the people arrive Some lame ass joker tries to up his game He soon finds out How Jack got his name The air gets smokey and the people shout When "Mustang Sally" blows the windows out Four in the mornin' and you're on a roll Your way past crazy, 'bout to lose control You might be dancin' But it's hard to tell The whole joint is shakin' And it's hot as hell You kiss some dolly and she kisses you back You've got all the symptoms of The Panic Attack
