I always think it is very difficult to compose a subtle piece of music like this. Every choice of note and each accompaniment has to be perfect...and it is! There are no distractions by excessive production and we are made to focus very carefully on each instrument. A very beautiful and captivating composition.

Lonely Dancer - This a classical minuet that is striking beautifully with it's simplistic melody that captures the solitariness of the dance. Great waltz timing that works so well. Excellent submission for the challenge.

A quiet, minimalistic and pretty thin tune, with a real eastern taste in it. Sadness (loneliness) is so accurate expressed in musical adjectives, this time I really see a perfect conjunction between title and music, yes, a lonely dancer in a room .....

Spacious, no unnecessary ornamentation. Every note here has purpose, every pause. A glint of uplift at the middle and near the end, a memory less melancholy which highlights the feeling at the return to the theme. But ending makes the more positive theme feel tragic with its sudden stop.

Like music from the camp of Kublai Khan, this has such a wonderful ancient Eastern feel to it, the Waltz is cleverly hidden in the spacious openness of the composition, very nice work Alexander!

One of my favs of the night. This has the hallmarks of ancient music from a distant time. Visuals of early civilization come to mind while listening. A very nice piece of charming music from you!
