Lyrics
Welcome, brothers. Welcome, Sisters. Feel free to step on up and take a look through this piece of glass into my private room; into a place I'm doomed to stay. Darkened corners. Dusty closets. Eyes lurking underneath my bed. They all await me there behind that windowpane; that straining sheet of fragile glass. Crouching outside, I peek into all the ugly secrets of my room. It's time for bed, though, and I'm getting sleepy. Reluctantly, I will return to the horror of my room. I lie in bed now and forget I'm sleepy. Plastic smiles. Painted eyelids. Shaking hands with disjointed mannequins. How they sit and stare and judge me silently. Oh, how I'd love to run away. Secret haven. Plaster cavern. The window there, it begs to share it's view to those who risk a look and peer into my room and see me screaming, staring back.
