I am a singer/songwriter/guitarist--from the Boston, Mass. area.I wrote all the songs uploaded here except the ones I've notated as cover songs.I like mostly music from the 1960s-70s; main influences are the Moody Blues(congratulations to them for their long overdue induction to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame April 14, 2018-(scroll down - songs are Moody Blues songs that I covered), (Also, I covered several Dylan songs which

I posted at the top of my playlist).Also I respect the creative genius of the Byrds ,Gordon Lightfoot,

Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Judy Collins, Joan Baez.

don't you know it certainly was heaven,
in the summer of love, the season of revolution, the summer of love.
Verse:
tripping out in san francisco, to the jefferson airplane and the byrds,
at monterey the music took us, to psychedelic sounds we'd never heard.
in the streets of haight-asbury, wearing flowers in your hair,
and some love beads and petuly, tripping at a renaissance fair.
Verse 2.
marching in the streets of DC, shouting out to end the war,
vietnam and the draft so evil, we all screamed what are we fighting for.
walking the roads of mississippi, with Martin dreaming of a better day,
when all will live as brothers, equality the only way.
Verse 3:
don't you know we can still live it, even though the years have come and gone,
imagine the new day dawning, the revolution isn't gone.
hear the echoes of the flower children, resounding in us today,
1967 bringing to us, visions of love's true way.
(note-my use of the words "tripping" and high"are not drug references-i meant when i wrote it getting high on life and the music)
