Story behind the song
I am working as linguist and professor at the university of Potsdam on indigenous and aboriginals languages. Motivated by the visit of Ghil'ad Zuckermann in March 2017, the professor of endangered aboriginal languages at the University of Adelaide and my own research on indigenous languages in Germany (Sorbian/Wend), in Canada (= Carrier in British Columbia Lake Stuart), Ket Siberia (Yenissey/nearby Krasnoyarsk) and Barngarla (west from Adelaide in Australia), I have found that the world would lose many colors if we would consider to learn just the biggest languages which rule the world, which are only 4 % of the 7000 languages we have but 90% of all speakers speak these 4 % of languages (which are English, Spanish, Mandarin and Hinid/Urdu).
