Another (unnamed) improv I recorded on my keyboard earlier this year. I remember listening to Eric Whitacre's "Sleep" and "Lux Arumque" and Barber's "Adagio for Strings" before starting this. It would be nice arranged for a real ensemble.
I am a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in music composition. This goes without saying but I love music (listening, composing, studying, performing).

Story behind the song
Another (unnamed) improv I recorded on my keyboard earlier this year. This one uses the "Dcy ChoirPad" sound but I think it would be real nice arranged for a real ensemble. When I was first playing around with chords and ideas which led to the first half, I thought it would be good with strings. But as I kept playing and listening to it afterwards I keep hearing it being sung by a choir. No words......perhaps a vocalise? Certain parts even sound like just humming, and that would be perfect. Of course about halfway in the "glass" theme comes back. This theme just keeps coming back into my improvisations even now...I think I need to really use it and develop it into a working piece already!
