Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Great opening,
I enjoyed the full instrumentation on this one, medieval and modern genre melted into another, interesting atmosphere, one of the most original entry of the last SC-Challenge imho!! Well done Carlo! :D

A wonderful piece, with lots of medieval references. There are many sweet themes and nice little tunes going on here. I also love the percussive sounds. The different pieces interact and blend nicely and as always the production is top notch. You opened a door to a strange and magic place of wonderful, timeless prog sounds, Carlo!

A 'wide-screen' epic of mind-travel into unknown territories; both in this universe and in others. A kind of travelling without moving. Lots of interesting changes. I can imagine a very involved light-show to go with this. Yep, Carlo, you've produced a very special one here. Excellently presented piece of pracical dreaming.

Quality to the core, simply mesmerizing! The wonderful, rich, seemingly timeless organ intro, the ultra-cool cat scat vocal passage, the rock solid bass steers this mama along throughout, and the coda comes across with an almost medieval vibe, the whole track really. Strange? Check. Signature? Well I can certainly tell it's yours. Amazing? Hell yes!!!

The open airy mellotron, the mean mode of the guitar lines, the grove of the percussion and bass, it all is otherworldly. Those vocals though, that's what takes this from trippy fun to awesome for me. A very cool three-part mini-suite indeed.

At the intro I immediately have to think of churches and Middle Ages because of the organ play, although I don't think organs were existing then. Around 0:25 the sky breaks open and we are in a Keltic/Scottish landscape.
Strange things are happening, but the atmosphere is still positive. At 2:05 a change is coming, coming into nowadays times. 3:04, changing again, have to think of Mike Oldfield. Everything is fine!
It's like jumping from one century to another, but there is always very much Keltic influence in the sounds for me.
Interesting STRANGE one!
Not heard this before Carlo but it's one very good World piece. A very interesting track for the listener. Lot of beautiful layers and twists to it. Very creative!
