A new production by the "Master of the melting genres"!! ;)
Extraordinary intro, the percussions base is so good. later on the west sytle is closing the arabian style,in fact the piano is performing a smooth/romantic jazz interplay in great contrast to the arabian intro..... but this is Musan Dera!
May be a little bit too "charged" at about 1:50 : don´t know if Morgan ($Bill) also meant this when he wrote "...with too many treats for the ear as it evolves." I had the impression.
Excellent production and sound quality ( as always when coming from your hand ), furthermore a very original and fresh arrangement!!! Well done my friend! :D

An instant favorite, amazing instruments arranged in a fusion of styles. The sound is crisp and pristine, with too many treats for the ear as it evolves. The melodies and rhythms intertwining as they enter and depart, then the break near the midpoint before taking a fresh turn. Compelling and fantastic!

A lovely complex Arabic rhythm. Really nice sudden changes that work perfectly. Breaks out into some free form jazz then back again. Leads to a very imaginative arrangement. Great production as well. Excellent track.

First you established a nice groove with the ethnic drums. Grabbed me immediately. Then the woodwind melody steps in along with the authentic sitar. Skillful! A BIG surprise occurred when the music suddenly changed to a modern Istanbul jazzy lounge vibe before moving on to an awesome groove (lead by the bass). Super musical elements add on this section. Great vamp/outro.
Yes, this is your thing...the genre...the authenticity...the arrangement....and production all lead up to an outstanding middle east tour led my Musan Dera. A highlight of the evening.
Oh, also the camel ride with Geraldine was awesome too:)

Nice intro with the pulsating percussion leading to a very complex composition which is very apt for the theme. I like the kind of free-jazz euro style you have going on here. Very well done!

Infectious and captivation beats. Love the complexity as well. The middle eastern sound very vivid. I feel like I am in a smoky bar in Algiers.

This is a highly skillful fusion of styles and blends Western and Arabic influences brilliantly. Mesmerizing arrangement and the sound/production is stunningly good!
