When I was 22 a young lawyer took one of my songs and put it on the ‘B' side of his recording of Ave Maria. He invited me to watch the recording session at Criteria in Miami, Florida. Since that moment all I have ever wanted was to have my music recorded by professional musicians and sung by established artists. This truly is a monumental task as I do not perform live so I have recorded my own material as a means to get exposure and as a way for artists to be able to judge the “cover” worth of my songs. Story behind the song

don't usually write music first without lyrics but this was one of the handful of times I did...which is why it took longer to complete...although the second quatrain was written into the song first and recorded before the other two

I’m one day older and two days shy of
Knowing whether to go or to stay

When I shed my fear I found (hidden there) wings hidden there
And now I am soaring, (in the air) soaring through the air
So shine and shine bright there are no shadows in the light
And fly on ‘til morning second star to the right

I can only hear the train in the distance
Seems like it’s calling me back home
And it weighs on my mind but it’s out of my control
And sometimes I’m still afraid to keep going
