Story behind the song
This is a story about a boy (me) who at an age of roughly 6-11 had every night the same nightmare:
The little boy is in a huge dark hot room, where the black coal supplies the heating boiler of the large rental house in Prague with energy. Suddenly the door opens on top and slowly a man made of hot ashes, out of a glowing black coal climbs down to me, who wants to burn me.
But even before this happens, the little boy, me, Peter, touches the glowing cabbage finger of the man and this decays, only then does the boy realize that the man from ashes has been his best friend.
