Story behind the song

this mostly turned out how i wanted it to. overblown because i kept layering and searching for a sound to express those slow motion moments when you land a critical hit or combo in fighting games (or from my personal experience Chrono Trigger's sword crits). i imagine those last 4 notes of the initial hook to be those moments (picturing Ryu's fierce punch).

it gets quite repetitive, which i admit as a weakness. but in the spirit of being in the moment of battle where the action doesnt cease, it felt appropriate.

forgive the title, i have dragon ball and super sentai in mind on that subject.
