This tune began with a descending bass line to which I gradually added layers of electric 12 string and other guitar tracks. Then the tune took on a life of its own, as is usually the case!

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
It wasn't until I'd almost completed this tune that parts of it began to remind me of the Blue Oyster Cult's song, 'Don't Fear The Reaper'. So, with tongue firmly in cheek, I called my tune,' Don't Fear The Raven'. Just to enforce it, I added the sound of actual ravens.
Lyrics
The only 'vocals' are the sounds of the ravens. Your guess is as good as mine as to what they're saying to each other.

Thoroughly enjoyed this sensational excursion into your musical mind. This track is very mesmerizing. Your guitar mix is superb...bringing the high end textures that has a nostalgic vibe. Great sonic soundscape. Also, nice cawing FX. Enjoyed.
