Story behind the song

Recently I saw the lovely musical 'Beautiful' (the Carol King story). well, having heard all those great old songs, I felt 

inspired to record one or two of them myself.
Chord-wise, they're all pretty simple tunes to play...but wow, those melodies are so good.
I've added a little more tremolo to the lead guitar with each verse. The last verse is nice and wobbly. The middle section is my attempt to recreate being on the beach and under the 'Boardwalk' on a Uk beach in the mid 1960s...thus the pirate radio jingle...and the 1960s style photo/avatar.
The bass line in this song was fun to play too.

you have got to be the envy of any self-respecting guitar player, and idiots like meself as well... the sounds you milk from that beast! sounds better than a transistor radio though, I've heard them in my time... they're awful... this is very good.
