Who is UZRome?

My name is Gerome stage name UZRome. Music has been in my soul ever since I was young. My parents were hip-hop heads so I grew up into the culture and fount excitement in rhyming and studying lyrical patterns which made me fall in love with the process of creating music. From 2010 till now I released four mixtapes and various instrumentals. I’ve also worked with numerous artist withwriting, engineering and producing.

I grew up the youngest of four so I was always learning from them,and competing with them. Our parents always supported our dreams. And even at times things were at its worse, we stayed strong andtogether. As i got older, my father boughtmesome equipment, that took me two years to even touch. It was asummer day with nothing to do. I blew off the dust of a Toshiba Keyboard, and press record. Trying to stand out among the abundance of hip-hop artistwas tough especially because I couldn't afford the competitive products, but it taught me to enjoy the process of making. I came a long way independently studying and developingthrough hip hop, I remember not have anything to record with so I took two earphones a stick (for the stand) to record my first verse to "Ice-cream Paint Job"(Later massively remixed) around ten years ago, till now owning my own house studio.

Currently I'm studying for my BFA in Fine Arts with a emphasis in photography and Intermedia at Western Michigan University. I worked with numerous mediums from

digital. (cover arts, videos, flyers ,etc. )

pencil, (pencil,pen, micron, etc.)

3d sculptures (wood, bronze,steel, etc.)

I have a production in development where I'm going to be engineering and producing, artist while designing cover arts, music videos, etc. to helppush theirimagination. I want t work with trueartist not only in the musical genre but others as well. "It would be cool to design book covers, movies,or video games. that would be dope". IMy dream path will bring people together as hip-hop originally intended to.
