Story behind the song
The song is about a man and woman who have known each other for some time without ever making a connection. He lacks courage to talk to her and she lacks the courage to leave her boyfriend who hits her. Her sadness forces his hand and he does the only thing he can think of....to make her smile and give her hope. A real man.
