There is a tower in Manhattan
Its shadow casts a pall
Upon the land from sea
To rising sea
To the horror of us all
His father was a conman
Grandpa was a Drumpf
His mother looked a lot like him
Changed their name to Trump
When he took the podium
They laughed and said "so long!"
But they stayed home
So sure he'd fade away
A hundred million strong
When we awoke the next day
We faced reality
The mediocre won the day
The bitter dregs of apathy
So voters...heed my warning
My solemn urgent plea
The tower looms above us still
Beware complacency
There is a tower in Manhattan
Its shadow casts a pall
Upon the land from sea
To rising sea
To the horror of us all
