A strange composition that had been languishing in a folder for about a year as I couldn't see where it was heading. When I re-visited it later, it almost assembled itself.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
An atmospheric musical track that was originally to have been the link between two spoken word sections of part 5 of my on-going Albertropolis story ...Into The Labyrinth. Since I re-visted it several months later, it's taken on a different life...that of an epic stand alone piece.

Didn’t know you had a rock organ in your arsenal. Reminds me of some yes stuff. Very creative.

I like the atmosphere in this track - it takes some unexpected twists and turns, in some parts it sounds almost spontaneous - absolutely gripping stuff! Sounds quite complicated and I imagine it took a while to finalise. Great entertainment and musicianship.

Early 80's alt-rock with hints of surf and the psychedelic? And maybe a little prog? Yes, Please. Digging the guitars, but don't underestimate those bass lines - great tone and feel.
