Cabela and Schmitt are a trio of friends who have been collaborating for over 40 years. Our only goal as a group at this stage in our lives is to share with others what we have so freely and abundantly been given. We come from the heart of the United States and humble beginnings, where hard work and perseverance is just a way of life. Cabela and Schmitt are songwriters/composers. We all have the God-given ability to choose how we want to view this world. We are all given a voice, in some way or another, to communicate how we see and experience our world. It is our choice how and when to use that voice. Cabela and Schmitt have chosen to expose our thoughts, beliefs, and feelings in the best way we canthrough a song. Again. Very nice work. Ya'll turn out some decent stuff, I must say. Vocally remind me of the Moody Blues a bit... and of course, lots of Beatle-awareness (we can't have enough of that, now can we) ... I'd actually dig collaborating with you, only you're in Nebraska (how's the weather there? it's a rainy-ass day over here) and I'm in NYC... busy running the planet and won't it be perterbed if it finds out. F*** 'em if they can't take a joke. Your songs seem to have a McCartney sensibility to them; which makes my mile-wide streak of Lennon wanna come up with bluesy and even dissonant parts to offset. Oh well, gimme a holler if you ever plan to be in NY, we could have lunch or something... you like Halal? There's like a million wagons on nearly every corner of the city selling the stuff...
