One of my first guitar influences was Alvin Lee and his band, Ten Years After. I hope that this tune re-creates the excitement of the British Rhythm and Blues boom of the 1960s.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song

From the very 1st note it certainly does recreate that era. The warmth of the recording adds to the era too. All in all a fantastic track bringing back past memories. Superb musicianship. My only criticism is it was way to short...loved it David.
