Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
The audio quality isn't perfect, as this was transferred from cassette tape into Adobe Audition and then mixed down to mp3 . but...it gives you a good idea of what Silent Network in full flow sounded like in the mid 1980s.. From a 'mini- album (EP?) called, 'Icecream Philosophy'.

Always fun to go back and listen to old tapes and find these forgotten gems. Great sound, you can really feel the 80's bleeding through (in a good way) :)

Sounds like you had a great band there David. Bet you sounded great live. Definitely could imagine you going down a storm in pubs. Great times....excellent track all round.

Fantastic style and a great band! This is so nostalgic to hear a band with such an excellent 80's sound. Brilliant job on the guitar and Jackie has such a distinctive engaging voice.
