Glancing Through Your Memories
Song is about what memories you would want to take with you when your life flashes before your eyes...
My name is Patricia Bishop and I am a lyricist. I collaborate with singer/songwriter, Jesse Navarro, to create the melody and music for my lyrics. He also does the vocals on most of the songs. Sometimes we also add other songwriters to collaborate with us. We live in the greater Houston area and are both members of Houston Songwriters Association www.houstonsongwriters.net. Lyrics
Glancing Through Your Memories
Lyrics by Patricia Bishop / Music and Vocals by Jesse Navarro 2019
V1
Heard it said before you die your life will flash before your eyes
Often wondered if that is true would you really want it to?
Pre Chorus
Glancing through your memories if life was filled with these
Which would you want to keep through eternity?
Chorus 1
Would it be your family, a great big house, cars and money
Anything worth bragging on, like trophies youve won
Which would you keep? Which would you keep?
V2
Nothing wrong with having that as long as we keep giving back
Good things all come from God, He wants us to share His love
Pre-Chorus
Glancing through your memories if life was filled with these
Which would you want to keep through eternity?
Chorus 2
Would it be that man on the street all alone, no shelter, no food to eat
Pass him by with blinded eyes, dont care if he lives or dies
Which would you keep? Which would you keep?
Spoken Bridge
I was hungry, you gave me food; I was thirsty, you gave me drink; I was a stranger, you welcomed me; I was naked, you clothed me; I was sick, youd visit me; I was in prison, you came to me.
Pre-Chorus
Glancing through your memories if life was filled with these
Which would you want to keep through eternity?
Out Chorus
Would it be your family, a great big house, cars and money
Anything worth bragging on, like trophies youve won
Would it be that man on the street, all alone, no shelter, no food to eat
Pass him by with blinded eyes, dont care if he lives or dies
Which would you keep; which would you keep;

Truly I say unto you, you did it to the least of one of these my brothers, you did it to me.
Which would you keep?
