Story behind the song

The lyrics are about the little bit of excessive compulsive behavior that I believe we all experience to some small degree when we've misplaced something simple, like a flashlight. Also, a typical reaction is to start blaming someone else for, in this example, moving it on us, or even worse - stealing it! The flashlight in question was later found, of course, in a place where I never would normally put it.
