Acoustic folk/folk-rock original singer-songwriters.
We are the remnants of a rock, turned folk turned folk-rock band (named "Open Road") that played together in the 70's and 80's. Today, Mark Porro and Vance Grazio continue writing and performing songs in the genre of those singer-songwriters who influenced us. We, along with recently added bassist Mike LaPierre, have formed this performing and recording trio known as "Currier Square" (named after the childhood neighborhood of Mark and Vance). We also collaborate with former bandmates and other musicians in these endeavors (Mark D. Hastings, Craig Whitson among others)

Story behind the song
started out writing about a wild turkey who visited my yard every day one summer, and the song took on the persona of a wanderer or homeless person
Lyrics
Woodsie words & music: Vance Grazio 2019 capo 2 Woodsie, calling, waiting by the sliding door all morning Rain is, falling, standing in the midst of puddles forming In line for a daily handout In step with her whereabouts Watch as she hastens on her way. Simultaneous joy and sadness Impervious to the madness Making the most, of every day Woodsie, living, somewhere in the woods outside the city Simple, willing, doesnt seek approval or your pity Covering miles of ground, Keeper of treasures found Blazing new trails along her way Simultaneous joy and sadness Impervious to the madness Just to survive, another day Cast aside by those, who she had known before May have lost the battle, but not the warsomehow Winter came and the snows did fall No sign of that girl at all Hope she found peace along the way Simultaneous joy and sadness Impervious to the madness Made the most, of every day Woodsiecalling..WoodsieIm calling
