Story behind the song
This song has several things in it that I had never discovered on the guitar before. When all the musical parts of it were put together, I tried to discern what should be said in the song. In the fullness of time, God sent His Son to be born of the Virgin Mary in a stable in Bethlehem. The people of that day needed a Savior. The people of today also need a Savior just as badly. In neither case would that Savior be a political leader. It is possible that a political leader could save a country, but he could never save even one soul. All political leaders will eventually die; but, in this song, you can learn how Jesus can save your soul for eternity.

Each of us is born into this world with a marred slate. The sins of our ancestors have been passed down to us. But there is a way to reclaim our lost innocence just by trusting the sacrifice of Gods only Son. He gave up His Godhead, and came down to the earth to live as a man. He lived a perfect life, then died on a cross to pay the penalty of sin. Then He rose on the third day. Now we too can rise when we follow Him by faith. Trust in Jesus Christ. That was Gods plan to save the world. In the Bible, it is unfurled. You can read about it there. You can have new life when you follow Jesus Christ, and He will show you another way to fruitfully live. Walking in mercy, living in His truth, doing what is right, and as you have been forgiven, also forgive. Heed the LORDs call, and you wont fall. Follow Jesus, He has a call on each life, and Hell walk with you. His Spirit will help you get through. He has a plan made just for you, to carry His light. So your friends and family too can escape the night and its darkness caused by our sins. We can live forever with Him in Heavens glory.
