Cowen has performed for audiences throughout the western United States 2002-2016 as Front Man/2nd Guitar and writer for The High Lonesome Band.
They have performed in venues such as The Ramada Express Laughlin, NV, The Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall Laughlin, The Flamingo, Laughlin, The Aquarius, Virgin River Hotel & Casino Mesquite NV. The High Lonesome Band won 1st place at the 2006 Colorado Belle Classic Rock Battle of the Bands and to this day holds the record for placing a perfect score.
The High Lonesome Bands first CD Train of Blues has gained international acclaim receiving radio play across Europe and welcomed with open arms. The name "Cowen Russell" is a tribute to both of my grandfather's Ed Cowen and Earl Russell. I love you both!
