Story behind the song
I decided to record this after seeing the movie "The Singing Detective", which featured this song. Just as the song Rawhide saved the Blues Brothers, when faced with a tough country audience, I used this song to assuage an audience that I realized only after the 2nd set, was big into country, not progressive rock. :) Our agent called us at the last minute to replace a country band that had to cancel.
