Story behind the song
Well after recording several tracks in collaboration with Producer Ralph Random, I decided to take artistic liberty with my vocal limitations, constant references with my voice similarities began to wear me down and I felt the need to shake things up, as it goes the comparisons remained, but in the end I felt satisfied with the overall result...I wanted to take a completely different approach to this beat, and decategorize myself from a specific genre...Random accompanies me on the hook, which I wrote on the train to the studio the day it was recorded. The song is about Hip Hop as a dead art...and me at the wake...telling heads to wake up about where it's direction is progressing...it's an artistic struggle both emotionally and lyrically...I break off from my regular style for this song and I look forwrd to doing this more in the future.
