Lyrics
All the wealth in the world wouldn't be enough, All the strength that exists couldn't stand up, All desire we can conjure is not as much As the life in her dream world. Once she lived a happy life, Filled with passion in what she did. Then slowly it all turned a lie, Each day became an auction she'd bid. Watching the time Roll away to oblivion, Not caring why She brought this situation. All the wealth in the world wouldn't be enough, All the strength that exists couldn't stand up, All desire we can conjure is not as much As the life in her dream world. When she felt she was living, Disaster loomed at bay. Without the strength and courage To look the other way. Watching the time Roll away to oblivion, Not caring why She brought this situation. Not that we won't join you If you weren't in your little fantasy. As the time runs out In her dream world As the lights turn off In her dream world. Copyright 2021; Bob Forbes

Wonderful progressive intro, that also turns out to be the backing for the verse. Love the Beach Boys elements in the bridge! Great piano themes that become the signature "riffs" throughout. Wonderful vocals and great lyrics. Living in a dream world can destroy you in the end and you may even drag others down with you! Amazing soloing. This is really high class work on all levels!

Superb arrangement!! I love the way it alternates between dramatic and gentle/ethereal, and the fluidity with which it moves through those phrases. A stunning song - hits you right away, excellent vocals, piano & guitar work. Top notch!

Really like the opening very much! The melody of this song is Killer, the bass just has such a great presence and tone as does the several different guitars I am hearing in this. Vocals and harmonies are all excellent and everything is recorded and mixed so well. Another fine original song!
