You may say my head is in the sky, but I've got to go there, I've got to try... I'm going to the station and I'm gonna go far. I've just a suitcase and an old guitar. The big city lights are shining like the sun, I'll join a rock band and have some fun. I can work it out, you can scream and shout. the big city lights and all those crazy nights, watch out world I'm gonna be a star, I'll be 'hot-wired' to my red guitar. I saw her standing by an open door, just like I'd seen her several nights before. I walked on over and asked her name, she told me that she was called Good Time Jane. She smiled at me and she winked her eye, I knew right then I couldn't pass her by, That's how I met Good Time Jane, Life will never be the same again. Love the guitar work!! This is a definite Brit pub rocker, uplifting, a lot of fun to listen to (and join in!), great vibe, superbly performed and written.
