It's about the songs. I'm not so much a singer-songwriter as a songwriter-singer. I do not fit into a genre. The genre fits the song. They range from rock to country ditties, from standard lounge ballads to power pop, from blue-eyed r&b to country rock. I sing almost all the vocals and play almost all the music (mostly on keyboard) but, as I said, it's about the songs.

Lyrics
I saw you comin, I saw you comin after me Man you were hummin, hummin like a killer bee All my defenses never stood a chance with you There was nothing I could do Baby, you broke through You loved me like a hurricane Blowin down the walls of my heart You washed away all my pain / in your purple rain I was a goner right from the start You loved me like a hurricane You caught me in the eye of your storm Turned my life upside down / scattered on the ground Then you moved on / Now you're gone After the last time, I shuttered myself in It would be the last time, I'd never open up again I should have known better, I should have took shelter from you But it was all like deja vu, You just broke on through We were a disaster / just waiting to be But your kisses were like cyclones / I was like the sea
