I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,
I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

Lying In The Sun I'm lying on an Australian beach, everything is cozy, and it's all within my reach, sun-screen lotion, and a paperback on my knee, and an Esky filled with ice-cold Australian Beer! It's all I've ever wanted, but then again, maybe I'm weird (Repeated) The world's got too complicated, so I've grown myself a beard (Repeated) I'm wierdy, and I'm beardy, and I love the philosophers muse, but sometimes I ignite, just like a powder-keg's fuse! Watch me light up the sky, down here in Melbourne, need you wonder why? On the way to somewhere else, just trying to use my mind, forget about the sharks and rays, just kicking back to unwind (Repeated) The sun beats down, and I crack another tin, someone I overheard says that I'm living in sin, but do I mind? My beard has knots and tangles, and lots of character too, I'm going to grow it on, and on, and on, till the end of this time! (Repeat 1 and 2nd verse)
