My friend Rick Smerage had told me his brother Bob had passed away and he only has a few old recordings of him playing guitar. Rick thought if possible it would be nice to use these raw recordings and make songs out of them. Words: Susanne and I

Ive written hundreds of songs over the past 40 years. I love Jesus, the word of God, people and music. I play guitar, bass and sing. Thank you for listening!
My music is about the new life found in Jesus Christ. He is our access to the Father and is worthy of all praise and glory. He has taken our sins away by the selfless sacrifice of His death upon the cross. He is deserving of songs and worship. The sound of my music is influenced by the delta blues and artists that have followed through the 60s and 70s who have taken this music and written folk, Americana, and Rock n Roll. Thank you for listening to my songs, and also the collaboration projects, thank you to all who contributed to these songs..

Remember Me Pictures of the good times memories Like an old time movie so young and free Playing the song Remember me When you are down and lonely what do you see Think of the moments just you and me Deep in your heart Remember me Life is passing us by so fast The clock is tickin make the time last The wheels are churning, Got to be learning, turning from the past Rollin right on down that line Pickin up speed got to be on time Comin to the station we will meet Where I’ll be saving you a seat Turn on the light so we can see A stage for us it’s got to be The show for all eternity It’s all set up remember me Words: Susanne and John Matteson Guitar: Bob Smerage Bass & Slide Guitar: John Matteson Photo by Adrien Olichon: https://www.pexels.com/photo/train-going-through-glenfinnan-viaduct-in-scotland-13368192/
