A pop song that started life as something in the style of The Police. That idea got a little submerged as the session progressed. It certainly has elements of their trademark sound in the clean chorused guitar riff.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
My good friend Jesus Oldman sent me some lyrics to use in a song. I've used them and have also added a few of my own too. This is another, Oldman / Briggs song.
Lyrics
What Do I Know Oldman / Briggs (c) 2023 Intro: I can see her watching me, with some kind of secrecy. but what do I know? (but what do I know?) yeah what do I know? (but what do I know?) I don't know quite what to do. I hear her laughing and I'm so blue. I really don' know, (I really don't know) I really don't know, What do I know, what do I know. I'm going down fast, I'm going down slow. Did I really ever know, (did I ever know?), ( did I ever know?) One fine day and not too long, we'll both be singing the same song. the sun will shine, and it will be fine. (and it will be fine) (and it will be fine). guitar solo: Looking through the sky through an elephant's eye. I'd love a little piece of her pie in the sky. watching her hair blowing in the breeze, the smell of her perfume brings me down on my knees. Synth solo: I don't know quite what to do, I see her waving, and I'm not blue. (I really don't know), (I really don't know),( I really don't know), One fine day and not too long, we'll both be singing the same song. the sun will shine, and it will be fine. (and it will be fine) (and it will be fine) instrumental outro: Synth and guitar
