Tried out a new keyboard controller and went with synths from it and drum pads. Guitar on high sustain and a track of wah wah abuse. Deep bass, upfront drums and my voice of doom. Lyrics by Mike Talbert, my uncle.

I am very much back after a 20 year period, have a deformed left hand & severe nerve, tendon & muscle damage in right arm. I used all kinds of weird tunings.

Story behind the song
My uncle is a prolific and published writer of poetry. I like this poem and I saw a melody and theme in it. And also bought a new controller I had to try out.
Lyrics
One Step Just one step (4X) Take one giant step backward As technology goes on Take a look at where we’ve been The peace inside fades and is gone Take one giant step sideways As our time quickly runs out Take a look at who we are The pain inside we’re about Just one step (3X) Take one giant step downward As we see how high we’ve climbed Take a look what’s left behind The bell that tolls has now chimed Take one small step forward As the future we’ve made is here Take a look what we’ve become The path we must take is clear. Just one step (3X) Just one step (3X) One at a time... Mike Talbert February 24, 2018
