Story behind the song
My dad who passed away in January, 2023 had always complained himself being an insomnia. That's why I composed this pretty large work. You can easily find the main tune came from "My Precious Life". I made the piece calmer and calmer from the beginning through the end employing just one and continuous ritardando. If you can get into a sleep easily, my attempt was succeeded. There is a longer version up to over 70 minutes. Now my dad is sleeping in peace and no need to take this tune anymore.
