I would have given up for everything
If I could just see your face
All that I might not have had doesn’t mean a thing
It’s you I want to embrace
But it’s a long road that leads to you
And I’ve often tried to turn away
But you always wind your way back into my view

Sometimes it’s easier
If I could just sit back and let the pieces fall into place
I don’t want to keep you guessing
I can’t hide, which is why I’m confessing
It’s not simple to always be so ready
But I don’t want to miss this opportunity
Sometimes you can get lost and your life seems such a blur
But I see you in this future, I’ve never been so sure
You suddenly appear
The clouds part and the blue sky I can clearly see
The warm air from a cold winter’s spring
I’ve never seen a sunny day seem so pure
It all becomes so clear
Those times without you that I won’t soon remember
You were there for me
And those feeling for you I won’t be hiding
