Story behind the song
This song was inspired by the book "Addiction and Grace" by Gerald G. May, M.D.
Lyrics
I'm still trying to fight these fears in my mind, With a lost sense of time, I've fallen too far behind. I'm drawing for swords, and pulling up daisies, As this mental is driving me crazy. I just want one more trip on that crazy train As slowly I slip from this loathing brain. I just want a freedom from the wall of this pain, Cause my heart is screaming for silence again. Chorus: And dreams are satisfied when all our fear is cast aside. Cause we're so unsatisfied as time slowly passed us by. So where do we turned to with all our bridges burned but our shoes, for this life's a walkthrough in the midst of grace and fools. Waking and dreaming, your fire never ends. In silence I'm screaming for you from deep within. This time I've went to far, I can't find myself anywhere tonight. It's like I've streatched myself apart; half myself, half insane, divided like a traffic light. Chorus Bridge: And being in vain can fake your sense to see true grace; And being insane can take you to a safer place Where you can break and feel your pain and heel within, and then scars will fade and you can fell alive again. I was supposed to be a hippie, a true flower child. It's burning within me, but barely alive. And it's just another matter of time untill I get myself back togeather. I've got to learn that there's lighting to ride through hail and high story wheather. Chorus
