Totally agree with all the others below, your ability to cover these songs, be they from the golden era of the sixties to the eighties or this century is hands down the best I’ve ever encountered, well done! (I checked my list and only 60’s and 70’s tracks feature in my covers, which officially makes any song written and recorded in last 25 years ‘contemporary’, lol!

I’m not the biggest Ed fan but this is a truly emotional song and you have absolutely nailed it. I much prefer your version. Wonderful.

Well I couldn't help but go and listen to Ed's original version on Youtube. The video of the song revealed the true meaning of the song. I hadn't been listening to the lyrics carefully enough when I played your version here on Soundclick. Knowing all that has made me realise what a powerful song this is. I also realise now, how great your version of this song is...wow

I like the relatively 'stripped back', arrangement of this recording. Beautiful played and sung. I've never heard the original so I'll stick with this version. This is a very, very nice recording. Your voice is so right for this kind of song. Excellent. Well done Steve.

Oh Steve you nailed it! Singer?songwriters like Ed are a treasure for any music lover. We tend to play and perform songs closer to our age group but there is a bounty of well written tunes coming out of the younger generations. Bravo for you on this! You have a younger Man's voice! Doing this can open up many more ideas that you thought you never had. Cheers!

Brilliant Steve. Great rendition of Ed's song. Must say I really like your vocals on this. Maybe not your usually genre but it works fab. Maybe do more songs like this but give it 'a Steve twist'. Just a thought. Works for me. 5 stars Steve.

Oh like it. I didn’t realize Ed’s been at it that long. You have captured his sound nicely. I always was amazed his style of music could make it in today’s world. I just watched yesterday the other day and he is in that which was pretty neat. Again very nice

Great job on the vocals, very expressive, excellent technique. First class guitar & backing tracks. Very impressive the way you can adapt to any genre or decade of music with your covers.
