The group was originally founded by Kai Lacrosse and David Harris under the name The Lenetown 8 on March 16, 2007. The group released songs here and there but never released any albums. In 2008 David and Kai released a few songs under the name Ohio Boyz. The Lenetown 8 disbanded in 2010 but in 2024 reformed and decided to release music again but under the group name Easystreet Royals. All the original members under Lenetown 8 became Easystreet Royals with a few new members. In February 2026 Easystreet Royals disbanded but only because each member moved on to other projects. Though their group is no longer all of them remain friends.

Lyrics
**[INTRO mumbled, lazy]** *Ain't nowhere to be* *Phone's on do not disturb* *This is that Sunday music* --- **[VERSE 1]** Woke up around noon, pulled the blinds halfway down Threw on some Tribe, let the baseline set the sound Shuffled to the kitchen in my socks on the tile Hadn't moved this slow since honestly a while Cracked open a cold one before the afternoon hit Rolled something smooth and just decided that's it No agenda, no errands, no emails to send Just me and the couch and a couple of friends Somebody brought snacks, somebody brought more Somebody's already asleep on the floor The playlist is perfect, nobody's in a rush Outside the world is loud but in here hush --- **[CHORUS]** Sunday slow, let the hours roll Pour another one, pass it to your soul Light it up easy, let the weekend breathe Ain't a care in the world on days like these Sunday slow, got nowhere to be Just the crew, just the vibe, just you and me Window cracked, afternoon breeze Sunday slow Sunday slow Sunday slow --- **[VERSE 2]** Second round poured, ice rattling the glass Someone put on Snoop and took it back to the past Singing every word wrong but nobody cares Laughing at nothing the best kind of affairs Smoke curling lazy toward the ceiling fan Somebody's telling the same story again We've all heard it a hundred times, still funny though That's the thing about good company the feeling grows Pizza box open on the coffee table top Someone said "I'm hungry" and nobody stopped Time moving different when the vibe is right Could've been two hours, could've been the whole night --- **[BRIDGE slower, almost spoken]** There's something about these do-nothing days That reset the soul in the quietest ways No highlight reel, no moment to post Just present in the room with the people you love most The smoke and the drinks are just props in the scene The real thing is this you know what I mean? The laughter, the silence, the inside jokes The kind of afternoon that nobody provokes --- **[VERSE 3]** Sun's getting low now, painting everything gold Somebody stretched out, somebody's getting bold Talking about life and what we're gonna do Big plans on a Sunday classic me and you Another cold one, the last of the pack Somebody's gotta make a store run nobody's going back So we ride out the last of whatever's left And agree that this Sunday was one of the best No drama, no pressure, no clock on the wall Just the kind of day you forget to recall Until years from now when somebody says *Remember that Sunday?* and everyone says yes --- **[OUTRO CHORUS fading, drowsy]** Sunday slow, let the hours roll Pour another one, pass it to your soul Light it up easy, let the weekend breathe Ain't a care in the world on days like these Sunday slow got nowhere to be Just the crew just the vibe *Just* *yeah.*
