Growing up, James was active in freestyle street rap battles, live performances, collaborations, . Instrumental engineering, producing, show hosting. Later created the name Hoodz Militia for a rap group he was a part of, which performed frequently in the Windsor rap circuit during a busy period in the early 2000s.
In 2008, he released his free MP3 album, “Sleep Depravated Conjure, featuring over 120 songs recorded from 1999 to 2008. The album spans many genres.
Before the album’s release, he performed extensively at shows, radio appearances, and artist circuits alongside other acts, establishing a strong presence in the Windsor music scene. The success of the album led to invitations to collaborate on mix tapes with U.S. artists and offers from multiple independent labels. His music was heard internationally during a time when buying views was not possible, and his self-recorded, self-produced work earned praise from DJs, radio hosts, and critics.
After taking time away from music to focus on family, James is now returning with his new project, “Death Oath (2008 -present)a testament to his musical vision, described as a talented artist on the rise.
