song I wrote and mixed with Rick going for that Floyd vibe once again. Bruce joined us on synths and I did the arrangement of which was totally inspired by a song from Pros and Cons (Waters).

...some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more...

think back to when Gary Numan first wrote this classic in '79 and then got chance to be onstage with NIN and have crowd go bananas to the frenetic drums and swirling synths and if we don't think we've lost something special than we're crazy...and if we think that era is coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools...

Story behind the song
completely fascinated and obsessed with Roger's first solo Lp, 'pros and cons of hitchhiking' - I actually got into that prior to anything from Floyd...I was in school when all the classic 70's PF Lp's were released (dark side, wish, animals and wall) and even tho totally aware of the singles and tracks played relentlessly on FM from those Lp's (i.e. money, comfortably numb, have a cigar etc), I didn't own any of their vinyl....but then came 'pros and cons' and I became an instant Roger fanatic and started buying all of Floyd's back catalogue and that was the start of a great relationship. Took my son to see Roger live in 2017 and it was such a wonderful sound and vision experience (he played 'wish you were here' and man, such a spiritual 70's moment, lol!)
Lyrics
"and Eeyore said, the sun shines much brighter than ever before..." I'm floating away... Over continental divide What do I see now What do I know What do I want from this carnival show (All that I am, all that I am) ...but you see There's nothing left this time There's no one left this time Talk to me baby Understand what I say I can do what you want But who'll be the adult today? "and Eeyore said, the sun shines much brighter than ever before..." I'm floating away I'm floating... I just got nothing, nothing to say nothing to say talk to me baby understand what I say I can do what you want Who'll be the adult today...? Who's the adult today... "and with that Eeyore went back to snoring because snoring was what Eeyore loved so..."

Great piano opening catches your attention right away. Very dreamy fill. The blending of the two of you is working very nicely. Good work.
